It’s not summer yet, but you can start it early by sponsoring a scholarship for a week of Peace Camp at Woodberry Crossing in Parkton, MD. Facilitated through the Peace Study Center, Peace Camp is a unique camp experience that helps youngsters (ages 6-10) explore peacebuilding concepts through nature.
In this peaceful environment, children from Baltimore City will enjoy swimming, hiking, stream-walking, gardening, and caring for animals. While having fun, we will explore ways to be peaceful citizens through crafts, storytelling, cooperative games, and skits.
We want children of all economic backgrounds to have the chance to come to Peace Camp. And with your sponsorship of $225, they can!
